Celebrating The Smiths
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 at 5PM — Join Mojomala as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of “The Queen Is Dead” and the enduring impact of The Smiths on generations of music fans. We’ll listen to Smiths classics and deep cuts, and share stories with photographer Nalinee Darmrong, who shot the band both on stage and on tour in the mid-1980s.
Along with the music, we’ll showcase Nalinee’s photographs from that remarkable era. (Mojomala currently has a selection of limited-run, signed and authenticated Smiths photographs by Nalinee on sale now).
This event is free to attend. Parking is best one block up at the Cameron Street/2nd Avenue county lot.
