SAVE THE DATE — Sunday, October 20. We’re thrilled to team up with our friends at Silver Branch brewery for an afternoon of vinyl collectors, comics creators and local artists & makers.
MOJO BRANCH features new & used vinyl and CDs; vintage, traditional and self-published comic books; art prints and apparel; and much more. We’re lining up DJs to keep the energy up throughout the day, and Silver Branch is even unveiling its Monster City Triple India Pale Ale (mmm, sweet elixir of life…).

Vendor registration is open now through September 20. We invite record sellers, comic book collectors & creators, artists and crafters of all kinds to participate in our first-ever record fair and makers market. Jim Saah and J. Robbins
You won’t want to miss this one: Mojomala is honored to have photographer Jim Saah and musician/producer J. Robbins in the shop on Saturday, Nov. 9. Jim will present a slide show and talk about his extraordinary book, “In My Eyes: Photographs 1982-1997” (now in its second printing). Along with copies of the book, we’ll have prints available for purchase.
And following Jim’s talk, J. Robbins will perform a set drawing from his latest Dischord album “Basilisk.” J. has played a critical role in the DC music scene both as a musician (Jawbox, Office Of Future Plans, J. Robbins Band) and as a producer (Magpie Cage Recording Studio).

Mojomala t-shirts update
Mojomala is getting a fresh stock of branded store t-shirts! We’ve got the design concept down and I just need to now draw the darn thing (which was a lot easier to do when I was in my ‘20s). I’m lining up the printer this week and should be ready to go by the end of next week.
If you are interested in reserving a shirt, please shoot me a note and let me know your size preference. That’ll help a lot with ordering. They’ll likely be black t-shirts with a one-color design with an estimated price of $20, depending on production costs.
